This is the first official look at the zombie film starring Brad Pitt. Just a heads up: This far different from The Walking Dead .
For those not familiar with the source material, the film is based on Max Brooks' best-selling novel World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War. According to ComingSoon, "the story revolves around United Nations employee Gerry Lane, who traverses the world in a race against time to stop the Zombie pandemic that is toppling armies and governments and threatening to decimate humanity itself."
Unlike The Walking Dead, the movie is expected to be more action-packed, with plenty of intense zombie action.
The film stars Brad Pitt, Mireille Enos, Daniella Kertesz, James Badge Dale, Matthew Fox and David Morse. It will hit theaters on June 21, 2013.
Even if you didn't go to Yale, you can appreciate this fabulous mix of pop classics. Other schools, take note.
According to Towleroad, the group mixed together "Over the Rainbow," Ma Rainey's "Prove It On Me Blues," "No More Tears," "I'm Coming Out," "Like a Prayer," "I'm the Only One," "Beautiful," "Born This Way," and "Love On Top." You can also hear snippets of "Like A Virgin" and "Freedom."
And we definitely needed an a cappella version of "Love On Top."
After nearly a year together at the Odense Zoo in Denmark, the same-sex couple attempted to become parents of their own. Keepers witnessed the pair trying to steal other couples' eggs. And during brooding season, the penguins even tried to incubate a dead herring.
"[The two] seriously wanted to stay with an egg," zoologist Nina Christensen toldThe Star.
The Odense Zoo reports that the penguins were recipients of an unexpected blessing when a female penguin laid not one but two eggs. She ultimately ditched the second egg, which afforded the male couple to become adoptive parents.
However, before they were given the egg, the males had to practice on artificial eggs. Once proven capable, they received and successfully incubated the egg. The chick was born a month ago but the sex won't be determined for another eight months.
According to HuffPo UK, Tom Daley and other Olympians were asked to "gyrate" to Basement Jaxx. (Of course this was all for charity.)
During the photo shoot, he told Radio Times he's "not a great dancer" aside from the "Daley Ghetto Slut Drop." While there is no video from the shoot, we can only guess what his move looks like based on that time performed a lip dub to LMFAO's "Sexy And I Know It."

Kevin Clash, the voice actor behind Sesame Street's beloved character Elmo, has taken a leave of absence after being accused of having a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old boy.
Earlier this summer, the accuser, then a 23-year-old man, reached out to Sesame Workshop alleging Clash had a relationship with him when he was still a minor.
After the accuser came forward, Sesame Workshop took immediate action. The company "conducted a thorough investigation and found the allegation of underage conduct to be unsubstantiated. Although this was a personal relationship unrelated to the workplace, [their] investigation did reveal that Kevin exercised poor judgment and violated company policy regarding internet usage and he was disciplined."
Clash, who would have been 45 years old at the time, acknowledged the relationship. However, he "insists it only took place AFTER the accuser was an adult."
"I had a relationship with [the accuser]. It was between two consenting adults and I am deeply saddened that he is trying to make it into something it was not," Clash told TMZ.
Meanwhile, the accuser has hired the same firm that represented one of the victims in the Jerry Sandusky rape case.
Despite Clash's absence, the company has no plans to remove the character from the show. According to an official statement, Elmo "will continue to be an integral part of Sesame Street."
[Update 2:20 p.m.] According to CNN, Clash issued the following statement:
"I am a gay man. I have never been ashamed of this or tried to hide it, but felt it was a personal and private matter. I had a relationship with the accuser. It was between two consenting adults and I am deeply saddened that he is trying to characterize it as something other than what it was. I am taking a break from Sesame Workshop to deal with this false and defamatory allegation."
[Exclusive] Christian Serratos, known to fans as Bella's friend Angela, is featured in a Día de los Muertos–inspired ad for PETA that reads, “Respect Life. Go Vegetarian.”
Image may be NSFW. Clik here to view.
The ad was shot by top celebrity photographer Robert Sebree for PETA.
The Twilight actress explains to PETA why she went vegetarian:
"When I stopped eating meat, I noticed that it was easier for me to focus, and I was really proud of myself for being green also. … I had a plethora of reasons for going vegetarian. I was eating meat and didn't know how it affected my health …. I just felt better and brighter and lighter, and I had more energy …. It was a big deal to me, being an animal lover, that I realized what I was eating, and I didn’t separate myself from, say, my animals, my pets."

This is not Serratos' first time working with PETA. She began when she was 14 years old and was the youngest person to star in the group's "I'd Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur" campaign. She joins Twilight costars Kellan Lutz and Booboo Stewart among those who have teamed up with PETA.
The company's corporate giving arm, the UPS Foundation, adopted a non-discrimination policy that will make the BSA ineligible for future grant funding because of its ban on gay Scouts and leaders.
On Monday, the UPS Foundation updated its website to include the following about discrimination:
The UPS Foundation seeks to support organizations that are in alignment with our focus areas, guidelines, and non-discrimination policy. UPS and The UPS Foundation do not discriminate against any person or organization with regard to categories protected by applicable law, as well as other categories protected by UPS and The UPS Foundation in our own policies. These include, but are not limited to race, gender, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran or military status, pregnancy, age and religion.
UPS, which gave $167,000 to the BSA in 2010, confirmed that the new policy will disqualify organizations that are unable to attest to the Foundation's anti-discrimination policy.
UPS is the second major corporation to drop funding for the BSA. In September, Intel announced it would no longer fund the Scouts until the ban on gay Scouts and leaders had been lifted.
The decisions appear to be a direct response to petitions started by Zach Wahls and Scouts for Equality. GLAAD recently joined forces with Wahls to reach out to corporations listed as having donated or continuing to fund the BSA. (See graphic below.)
Over the weekend, the Olympian competed for the first time since the London Games — meaning he was finally back in a (revealing) Speedo.
Ryan Lochte was back in the water for the Minneapolis Grand Prix. According to Sports Illustrated, the swimmer swam the 200 individual medley and the 200 backstroke walked away with five wins "during the first races of the six-meet series."
But his speedo was the main attraction.

Rihanna was named the magazine's "Obsession of the Year." In the issue, she discussed love, her image, and Chris Brown:
...on what she wants in a relationship: “I like to feel like a woman. I have to be in control in every other aspect of my life, so I feel like in a relationship, like I wanted to be able to take a step back and have somebody else take the lead.”
…on love: “Love makes you go places you probably wouldn’t ever go, had it not been for love. But I think everybody still has their limits.”
…on how she sees herself: “Sometimes a person looks at me and sees dollars. They see numbers and they see a product. I look at me and see art. If I didn’t like what I was doing, then I would say I was committing slavery.”
…on the fight between Drake and Chris Brown: “There’s no proof of that being for my love. That’s my answer to that question.”

In the December issue, Cooper opens up about his personal life:
…on his hygiene: “But yeah, I don't use deodorant really anymore. I do take a lot of showers, so maybe that helps.”
...on his father: “My father was viciously smart and intellectually curious. We lived across the street from a movie theater. And he would always talk about all these movies. And he would always talk about all these movies, and when I was at the age of being able to appreciate them, he just started throwin' 'em my way."
...on going to grad school: "I still remember on the pay phone, calling my dad in the office, and he said, 'You got the letter, and you got rejected.' It really floored me. It gutted me. Eventually I said, 'Dad, I'm gonna reapply,' and he said, 'Do it.'"
...on the benefits and success of Hangover: "It's afforded me the ability to do the five movies I did between Hangover II and Hangover III. And you can solve people's problems. To be able to say to someone, 'You know what? I'm gonna buy your house for you. You don't have to worry about the mortgage anymore.'"
Walters aired a snippet from the first part of the 20/20 interview with the Liz & Dick star despite the entire thing being called off by Lindsay.
According to DListed, "the second part of LiLo's interview with Barbara was canceled, but the first part was shot back in June on the set of Liz & Dick."
During an episode of The View, Walters aired a clip from the taping and said that Lohan pulled out of their interview because she wasn't feeling up to it. Lohan has now signed up to do a spot with Jay Leno.

According to Brian Stelter of The New York Times, the accuser has recanted his statements.
The accuser, who continues to remain anonymous, issued a statement through his law firm — the same one that represented a victim in the Jerry Sandusky case.
In the statement, the lawyer said it was an "adult consensual relationship" between Clash and the now 23-year-old man.
The news comes less than 48 hours after the initial claims went public.
Clash, who is still on a leave of absence, issued his own statement shortly thereafter.
"I am relieved that this painful allegation has been put to rest. I will not discuss it further."
More on the initial story here and a reflection on "the tragedy of Elmo."
