Peter Berg penned a letter to the presidential candidate after he “co-opted a phrase from the show for his campaign.”

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Peter is calling "the use of the use of 'Clear Eyes, Full Hearts, Can't Lose' an act of stealing." The phrase was made popular by the critically-acclaimed series and was often seen above the entrance to the locker room.

The show's phrase, which currently appears on Romney's Facebook page (see below), has been used in several campaign appearances and speeches. In Iowa, he told Americans:

"We have clear eyes — we know what we believe. Full hearts — we love this country and we can't lose. This is a time for Americans to make a choice. We're going to take back this country."

Boy Scout Denied Advancement For Being Gay Speaks Out

Ryan Andresen sat down with BuzzFeed to talk about his struggles with bullying and what it was like to be denied his Eagle Scout rank by the Boy Scouts of America.

Ryan Andresen seen in his Boy Scout uniform pictured with Troop 212 in Moraga, California. Even though he completed all of his requirements for Eagle Scout, he was ousted from the troop because of his sexual orientation, which didn't agree with the Boy Scouts of America's principle "duty to God."

When did you first come out to your troop?

I came out in general in the summer of 2010. My scout master definitely knew by February of 2011.

Were you aware of the Boy Scout's policies? Were you ever worried about being kicked out or being denied Eagle Scout?

I didn't know about the ban on gays until they reprinted it over summer. No one had really talked to me about it and then I just shrugged it off.

Did you feel betrayed by your Scout leader?

Yeah, very much. The whole time he was leading me on, encouraging me to be doing the project. I wasn't planning on sticking with Boy Scouts and he encouraged me to keep going. He was basically my role model for quite awhile. I'm still very shocked and he still hasn't talked to me.

Rumors Of The Advocate Magazine's Demise Are Greatly Exaggerated

Instinct Magazine published and then pulled down a story about the closure of America's oldest LGBT magazine. The Advocate says the report was “patently false.”

On Monday, The Advocate — the nation's oldest LGBT publication — shot down as "patently false" a report that it would be printing its last issue in December.

Earlier, Instinct Magazine published an online item about The Advocate's closure, but shortly thereafter removed the article from its website.

Asked if the report was false and if The Advocate or Here Media, the magazine's parent company, prompted the Instinct Magazine article's removal, Here Media's Mark Umbach told BuzzFeed, "Yes to both questions, as the report was patently false."

"The story has been removed from our site," Instinct Magazine associate editor Jeff Katz told BuzzFeed. "We cannot comment further at this time."

Here's the post as it appeared on the Instinct site before being removed:

As the nation's oldest LGBT publication, The Advocate has a long history with expanding media coverage of gay news. The magazine was first distributed nationally just prior to the Stonewall Riots in New York City.

However, The Advocate has been shrinking its operation since 2008. Here Media first reduced the magazine from bi-weekly to monthly, and in 2010, the magazine was consolidated into a supplement, which was attached to Out.

Rihanna wore a sheer white dress while surrounded by flames.

The shot was reminiscent of the recent teaser trailer for the Carrie remake.

Regardless of the visual inspiration, it looks like RiRi is channeling the darker undertones of her new (drug-themed?) song.
