Designer Meg Jannott challenged herself to make visual brands that mix together logos, nicknames and quotes of our nation's commanders-in-chief.
In an interview with Co.Design, she explains how she each brand came together.
"When I started to work on a president I did do some research to find out traits and characteristics about them--what they were known for, nicknames, etc. Then, I tried to use photography and typography to emulate those things. Some are more successful than others, but that’s all part of the process of the set, I think."
Her mission is to create brands for all of the U.S. Presidents. Check out a selected portion below:

The map shows Hurricane Sandy as a Category 1 with top wind speeds of 90 mph. The eye of the storm is off the coast of Virginia and Maryland. At this point, the hurricane is ready to make landfall after spending several days building power moving up the coast in the Atlantic Ocean.

At this time, Hurricane Sandy already made landfall and the eye of the storm is somewhere over Dennisville, NJ, which is about 40 mins southeast of Atlantic City. Top wind speeds are somewhere between 75 and 90 mph. By 11 PM, Hurricane Sandy's movement would slow down and max wind speeds would drop to 75 mph.

Downgraded to a Tropical Storm, Sandy is somewhere over Johnstown, PA. Movement of the storm has dramatically slowed with top wind speeds of 45 mph. The storm, which will continue to deteriorate in size and power, is projected to swing over Pittsburgh before moving north into Canada.

The wind pattern on this day in September is typical for the country. There is no influence from any one storm, especially the likes of Hurricane Sandy. Sandy's power affected the air around much of the nation, including the states along the Mississippi River.

Hugh Jackman's spin-off film released a new, badass poster.
According to ComingSoon, the film "finds Logan, the eternal warrior and outsider, in Japan. There, samurai steel will clash with adamantium claw as Logan confronts a mysterious figure from his past in an epic battle that will leave him forever changed."

It stars Darryl Stephens (Noah’s Arc) as Lenny, a civil litigation attorney, Matthew Stephen Herrick who plays his long-term boyfriend Bryan, and Jeremy Jackson (Baywatch) who is Kevin - Lenny's straight friend. All are featured in the deleted scene, which was cut from the first episode.
